How to choose Pummelos: Look for pummelos that are lightly firm, but not overly soft. The less smell a pummelo has the better.
How to store Pummelos: Pummelos can be kept in the fridge and will last 2-3 weeks.
Climate and origin: Pummelos originated in South East Asia and are now grown in tropical climates all over the world.
Taste: Pummelos have a fragrantly sweet to acidic taste with a juicy texture.
Miscellaneous information: Pummelos are the largest of all the citrus fruits, however, a good deal of their volume is due to their extremely thick skin which covers a much smaller fruit.
